The city has been there as long as anyone can remember. Always in the shadows of the giant mountain range that stretches behind it, this place has a different feel and quality from the rest of the suburban areas. Naturally, with the humans came their armies of pets, some of which escaping and becoming strays on the streets. This is the way in all cities, and this place is no different.
However, one day, as the dogs living there were happily carrying on with their lives, there came a howl. A howl unlike one they had ever heard before, and yet one that was written into their subconscious. The howl of a wolf. The whole world seemed to stand still, and even the humans noticed – Gradually, the number of singing wolves started to grow, until the air rang with the pure, clear sound. Nothing like this had been heard before, and it marked the coming of the wolves into the land around the city.
Now, the wolves that had arrived were content with where they were. More than happy with the bountiful prey and a constant supply of fresh clean water. But word of the dogs living amongst the many buildings next to them angered the wild beasts, for they thought their cousins soft and tame, and it infuriated them more and more each day. Their loathing grew so strong that should a dog ever set foot in the countryside, as they used to have been free to do, they would be slaughtered on the spot, despite age or breed. The dogs grew to hate the wolves, too, after their land had been stolen away, and separating themselves off into their own little world, both species planned things against each other.
The detestation between them still remains today, and nothing much has changed. The wolves are still living out in the countryside, whilst the dogs stick firmly to the familiar ground of their homes. Life is not peaceful, as it never seems to be when you’re a canine, but still they struggle on. Will you be on the side of the beautiful yet deadly wolves? Or will you choose the dogs loyal to the land they have grown up in, ready to fight for it if they need to? One thing is for sure, though – Life for both species will never be the same again…

Re: Can You See The Pain? « Result #8 on Oct 25, 2006, 12:48pm »
Silverpaw howled out in pain as her stomache contracted for the final time. Her paws moved into a position that looked as if she were jumping, but still she lay upon the cool sand. Her muscles went to work as she forced her tiard body to push the pup that lay within her out into the world... Within the hour, a gray pup lay beside her as she quickly went to work of cutting the cord and helping it breathe. With the pups first breath, she began cleaning the pup dry as Silver's vocals opened to speak her name. Kailasa... Your name shall be Kailasa... My beautiful Kailasa... She said as she picked the pup up in her fangs gently and moved awy to the other side of the cave and lay down once more, placing the pup near a nipple on her belly as the pup began to drink and Silver kept staring at the door. Her head was high, but her coat was wet from birthing, and anyone could tell she was tiard, but not enough to let her gaurd down..

Silverpaw quickly made her way back into her terrain. The pain in her stomache had erupted in the meeting grounds, and had quickly left. With her pads carrying her through the fly sands in Oase, with the wind blowing against her, she stoped. She was gasping for air as she looked around frantically. Where should I go? This wind is too strong for anything to let life come out. She thought as she let her pads carry her quickly towards a bunch of roacks. Her pads could feel little pebbles under her, though she'd never been here before, she knew there had to be a cave. As she smelled around, she knew her alpha had probly been here, but no others. Her nose went to workup on the sand, creating a sneeze to come from her as sand blew in her nose. Soon she caught sight of a small blackness, and approached. As she stood in front of the small entrance to the cave, she could smell that no one had been in here before, or not for a long time. Quietly she went in the cave and lay down. Her pup was to be brought into the world very soon, though what was she going to get out of it? Nothing, no respect, but still, she wanted something to love and to talk too. She rolled to her side as her head went to the cool sand, watching the sand rush by the entrance.

Well, actually, they are safe. They can't get eaten unless someone makes a riddle in the hunt board. I guess I'll delete your account. That's too bad Eno.
sorry guys but with school, a horse and my own rpg plus the other TI to go to i can't manage this extra one and quite frankly i'm not sure i like roleplaying deer when there's no safe land and there should be. it should be if the deer are within their borders they should be safe. sorry but i'm leaving due to the workload of mine, TI, school and a horse. bye.

Pawing the ground she set off on a moderatly slow trot. Why is it dangerous to go off alone?I've been alone for the past 2 years.I have my ways of hiding and defending.
Comet sighed nodded and started to go in a trot. Come on, i'll go for a small run or trot with you. It's fine though, I just wanted you to know it's dangerous to go off alone. He said with a sigh as he waited for her.
Comet stopped as she did and sighed. Don't you know that you need to stay in a group for safety when it comes to herds. You can never go off on your own, or risk never returning to see the light of day. He said warningly, just to let her know, not as a threat however, just letting his own knowledge flow to her.

Silver lifted her nose to the sky as she smelled the air. Something familiar was around her, and she already knew the answer. Of all the things that could show up, a fellow pack member was not what she needed here. Hi, I'm Silverpaw, who are you? She said in the same tone as the other. Her head was still high as she awaited to hear the others reply.

Maxima
Maxima waited to see this female. Rain had not even mentioned to her. She sat on her haunches as the bella came out of the river. A sharp greeting was sent toward the bella . Lo there. ambers run over her as she shook the water from her coat. She moved toward Silverpaw but gave room because Maxima did not know this bella's temperment.

He entered into the breeding grounds silently. This was going to be exciting. He popped out of the grass and padded to Silver's side. Hello Dear he said. He looked to her and then around for any peeping toms.
